Michael Jeffrey Jordan (born February 17, 1963) is a retired American professional basketball player and active businessman. His biography on the National Basketball Association (NBA) website states, "By acclamation, Michael Jordan is the greatest basketball player of all time." Jordan was one of the most effectively marketed athletes of his generation, and was instrumental in popularizing the NBA around the world in the 1980s and 1990s.

After a stand-out career at the University of North Carolina, Jordan joined the NBA's Chicago Bulls in 1984. He quickly emerged as one of the stars of the league, entertaining crowds with his prolific scoring. His leaping ability, illustrated by performing slam dunks from the free throw line at Slam Dunk Contests, earned him the nicknames "Air Jordan" and "His Airness". He also gained a reputation as one of the best defensive players in basketball. In 1991, he won his first NBA championship with the Bulls, and followed that achievement with titles in 1992 and 1993, securing a "three-peat". Though Jordan abruptly left the NBA at the beginning of the 1993-94 NBA season to pursue a career in baseball, he rejoined the Bulls in 1995 and led them to three additional championships (1996, 1997, and 1998) as well as an NBA-record 72 regular-season wins in the 1995–96 season. Jordan retired for a second time in 1999, but he returned for two more NBA seasons in 2001 as a member of the Washington Wizards.

Jordan's individual accolades and accomplishments include five MVP awards, ten All-NBA First Team designations, nine All-Defensive First Team honors, fourteen NBA All-Star Game appearances and three All-Star MVP, ten scoring titles, three steals titles, six NBA Finals MVP awards, and the 1988 NBA Defensive Player of the Year Award. He holds the NBA record for highest career regular season scoring average with 30.12 points per game, as well as averaging a record 33.4 points per game in the playoffs. In 1999, he was named the greatest North American athlete of the 20th century by ESPN, and was second to Babe Ruth on the Associated Press's list of athletes of the century. He will be eligible for induction into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2009.

Jordan is also noted for his product endorsements. He fueled the success of Nike's Air Jordan sneakers, which were introduced in 1985 and remain popular today. Jordan also starred in the 1996 feature film Space Jam. He is currently a part-owner and Managing Member of Basketball Operations of the Charlotte Bobcats in North Carolina.

Les Miserables Complete Symphonic Recording Les Miserables Complete Symphonic Recording

Reviews

As soon as I bought this album, I created a version that intermixed this one with the Broadway Cast and the 10th Anniversary. Which is to say that there is a lot that is good in this version, but a lot that's better in other versions. THE GOOD 1. Of course having the entire album available is great, which means getting to listen to parts that I hadn't heard in years. The sound quality is excellent, and the overall sound is very lush. I was especially happy to hear (1) the full version of the "Look Down" reprise, (2) Gavroche's death scene, (3) Valjean's confession, and (4) Marius's wedding confrontation with the Thenardiers. 2. There were some very good performances, especially Michael Ball as Marius, Philip Quast as Javert, and the young actor who played Gavroche. Philip Quast was not as pointed and visceral as he was in the 10th Anniversary version (when he was paired with the excellent Colm Wilkinson), but was still one of the best. I am one of the few people not overly enamored of Michael Ball, whose vocal performances have a harsh, whiny tinge and frequently lack subtlety. However, in this version, he gives his most restrained performance, and in some scenes, such as the wedding confrontation, he is very effective. I agree that Andy Warlowe has a good voice, but count me as a Michael Maguire fan. Fans of Warlowe like to cite his more powerful range, but I think that both ignores the very different setting in which he and Maguire performed and the fact that Maguire is a superior vocal actor. When Maguire sings, he just sounds powerful and in control. By contrast, Warlowe must scream to sound authoritative ("Where are the SWELLS who run this show?!"). Also compare the two during the "Lamarque is dead" sequence: Maquire sings fast and sounds genuinely excited, while Warlowe sings slowly and mechanically. Yes, by singing slower, Warlowe sounds smoother, but I would be moved by Maguire's Enjolras; not so much by Warlowe's. Finally, the complaints about Maguire's singing largely stem from his live performance in the 10th Anniversary edition versus the studio-recorded Complete Symphonic version, where Warlowe could presumably have sung many takes until the best was chosen. THE BAD 1. The overacting, which I went into a bit above. Warlowe, Gary Morris, and especially the Thenardiers are all guilty. I actually think that Gary Morris's voice is fine, though in songs like "One Day More," his inability to hold long notes is very noticeable. However, it is his acting that really detracts from his performance. "My GOD, Cosette! I heard a CRY in the dark!" I wonder if a poor director was presiding over this version, telling the performers that they must scream in order to make themselves heard? This version's Thenardier, meanwhile, is the first that struck me as repulsive, while Madame Thenardier screeches like a debauched Smurfette. 2. This version's Eponine, who has an uneven vocal performance. While it was admirable that the singer could sing the part without knowing English, in several places, her poor diction is noticeable and takes you out of the scene. Dozens of people had played Eponine by the time of the Complete Symphonic Recording -- why not go with someone who could sing the part clearly? So all in all, this recording is worth the money, as long as you buy it for its parts rather than the whole.

I like this recording because it features many sequences that can't be found on any other recordings, such as Eponine's Errand and the dialogue part of In My Life. I only have complaints about the voices of Cosette, Mme. Thenardier (so irritating to listen to), and Eponine. Cosette's voice is nice, but annoying, it doesn't seem to have enough depth. I guess it sounds all "head voice", I think that's the term. Judy Kuhn's Cosette is much more pleasant sounding. Eponine, her voice is alright, but it's too bad her English pronunciation wasn't better. I mean, it's great at some parts, but worse at others and makes her a less convincing Eponine. Gary Morris is a great Valjean; I was surprised to read that he is actually a country singer!

Everyone has their own favorite version of Les Miserables so comment on that aspect is not particularily helpful. However, as usual Amazon's service (availabilty, speed of delivery and keeping the customer informed) was top notch. You might ask why the rating is not a 5 but 5's only come when I get more than I expect.

The most obvious reason to get the Symphonic Recording is to have the entire show on CD. This album is really for the most devoted Les Mis junkies. I particularly like Javert's Intervention, which acts as an introduction to my favorite song, Stars. Aside from the completeness of the album, there are two other highlights for me. One is Anthony Warlow, who is the best singer to play Enjolras. Maguire's Enjolras is also stirring, but Warlow is more talented. The second highlight is the Orchestra. It probably has the best orchestra out of all four recordings, although the tenth anniversary concert comes close. Now onto the rest of the cast. This is Philip Quast's first recording, and he is superior to Terrence Mann and Roger Allam. He would only get better on the Tenth Anniversary Concert. Michael Ball gives another respectable performance as Marius. Then why am I only giving this three stars? Aside from the cast members just mentioned, the rest of the cast is inferior to their counterparts on the other three albums. Gary Morris isn't a very good Jean Valjean, and Kaho Shimada is the worst Eponine. As others have pointed out, she is not singing in her native language so her performance is nothing special. She memorized her lines phonetically. I would like to hear her sing in Japanese. But Gay Soper as Madam Thenardier is truly terrible. I can't stand her. Her one line in Javert's intervention makes me cringe. Thenardier over does it sometimes but he's more tolerable than his wife. I don't particularly care for Debbie Byrne on this album, she sounds like she has a frog in her throat at times. Tracy Shayne's Cosette is OK, but nothing compared to Judy Khun or Rebecca Caine. Overall I consider this album to be a good supplement to the Tenth Anniversary Concert, to fill in the gaps so to speak. This is not the quintessential Les Miserables album by any means though.

The Complete Symphonic Recording of Les Miserables is simply the best version of the musical you can get. It contains many songs that are not on any of the other albums -- yes, including the concert album -- not to mention extended versions of the songs that include the instrumental parts of the musical. Nothing can quite move you more than hearing that oboe solo during "The Sewers" where the barricade is panned around to show Enjolras splayed across the flag. Breathtaking! Gary Morris is an acceptable replacement for Colm Wilkinson. He truly shines in many of the songs, particularly "Bring Him Home". Philip Quast is arguably the best Javert there is. He leaves such a chilly afterfeeling in "Javert's Suicide" that the listener is simply left in awe. Michael Ball, as always, IS Marius and will always be him. Barry James, some will notice, plays Thenardier on a much more sinister level than Alun Armstrong; but he and Gay Soper are great as the wicked couple. Last but not least, Anthony Warlow is no short than AMAZING as Enjolras; the part is simply perfect for him as Enjolras requires a very powerful voice and Warlow delivers. It is worth noting the ones who aren't quite up to snuff with some other versions out there. Kaho Shimada, who played Eponine, seems to be a poor choice, indeed. She sings much too soft for Eponine and "On My Own" is definitely lacking emotion and power in her rendition. Similarly, Debra Byrne, compared to greats like Patti LuPone and Ruthie Henshall, falls very short in "I Dreamed a Dream". She is much too operatic. Tracy Shayne, as Cosette, lacks the graceful, "lark"-like voice most identify with Cosette, and is much too modern a choice, for my tastes. Overall, however, this is the most complete version of an amazing musical that you will find and I highly recommend you buy it! Many of the songs are updated. "Little People" is MUCH shorter, like it should be, while "Stars" is now a wonderful showstopper as the music builds up in the end. The only other way one could collect all the songs is by purchasing every Les Miserable recording out there and compiling them all onto one CD. The Complete Symphonic Recording does that for you.

This film is very historically correct (I live in south central Pennsylvania and have visited the battlefield many times). The casting and acting are superb. The scenery is breathtaking. However, the DVD version is manufactured on a strange double-sided long play disc. So, you have to remove the DVD at mid-point in the movie and flip it over. Also, the DVD does not alway synchronize the sound track properly on the second side, so you sometimes have to restart it a couple of times to get it to sync. Assuming that the original master film is of sufficient quality (it should be since the companion film, Gods and Generals, has been released in Blu-ray, and it was prior in time), a Blu-ray release of Gettysburg would indeed be a historical treasure. Additionally, a Blu-ray release would eliminate the troublesome need to manually flip over the disc to see the remainder of the movie, since a Blu-ray disc would have more than sufficient capacity on the single side of a disc. The Blu-ray version would also provide greater capacity for auxiliary tracks and greater sound depth. I sure hope that someone persuades the film maker to release a Blu-ray version, and if they did, I would buy it immediately, even though I already own the DVD version.

I love this movie, as well as Gods and Generals. I just hope that The Last Full Measure is also made into a movie.

Purchased this for my son-in-law, a semi-serious Civil War buff, but now a busy Naval officer. Watched it together. He said it was the most nearly accurate telling of the battle he has viewed. I only wish I had seen this movie before I visited the actual battlefield years ago. I thought the language was somewhat stilted, but then, I had to remember that was the way people talked ~150 years ago. Perhaps some of the portrayals of the Southern leaders came across a bit too strident, but, hey, I have yet to meet a born Southerner that was not passsionate about the topic. Aside: I married into a Virgina family with down-country roots dating back to the early-1800's. Others watching it thought it ran a bit long, but the battle did take place over 3 days. Buy it and have an extra bag of popcorn ready to toss into the mircowave.

This video was purchased for my grandson for Christmas. He was very pleased with this movie.

This is an excellent movie, if you are looking for an historically accurate account of the battle of Gettysburg. It is very well done, with meticulous attention to detail. It is an unusual two sided dvd. Highly recommended!

Read the book, I enjoyed it much more than the movie. The movie is abridged plus added material which isn't in the book. If you like Hollywood drama is one thing but the book goes into detail which relates to real life and gives you a feeling of essence of life and what it is to love another human being. Nicholas Sparks is an exceptional writer. Every time I read the Notebook I cry as if it is my first time. I will mention in passing I saw the movie "A Walk to Remember" and also read the book. There too the movie is much more removed from the book (than the Notebook) with a lot left out. To be in sync with real life better read the books than to buy the dvd's!

This is one of my all time favoritest movies. Heartwarming, tearjerking, funny, romantic, charming...Beautifully done!

An old man in a nursing home reads a story to an old woman each day. The story he reads follows two young lovers named Allie Hamilton and Noah Calhoun. They met one evening at a carnival many years ago. Allie's parents separate Noah and Allie. They disapprove of Noah's lack of wealth, and move Allie away. After waiting for Noah to write her for several years, Allie meets and becomes engaged to a handsome young soldier named Lon. In a local newspaper, Noah's picture catches Allie's eye. He is standing in front of a fully restored, 200 year old home. The article is filled with praise for his accomplishments. Allie's heart nearly bursts. The last time she saw this house it was a rotted decaying shamble. She stood enfolded in Noah's arms in the great entryway and listened to his plans to buy and restore this house. Just the way she wanted it. With her love for Noah still alive, the picture pulls at her heart. She has to go back, see if Noah is okay, and tell him about her marriage. They both think the echo deep in their hearts, the one that has lasted all these years, is not shared by the other. The cry they could not stifle. It wasn't over for me. This movie will keep you guessing at the outcome, and delivered twists throughout the whole movie. The Notebook is extremely well constructed, and a truly remarkable movie.

A very good love story. I liked it more than I thought I would. Very well done. I would see it again.

It would be very easy to simply dismiss this movie as another tear-jerker chick flick. But soon you get caught up in its pace and the story line. Before you know it, you find yourself immersed with the characters. And even though you can probably predict the ending, you still want to go along for the ride, it is that enjoyable! An excellent family movie anytime!

Average Rating:

When you consider that old-fashioned tearjerkers are an endangered species in Hollywood, a movie like The Notebook can be embraced without apology. Yes, it's syrupy sweet and clogged with clichés, and one can only marvel at the irony of Nick Cassavetes directing a weeper that his late father John--whose own films were devoid of saccharine sentiment--would have sneered at...

Brewster Mccloud [VHS] Brewster Mccloud [VHS]

Reviews

This is a follow-up to Dr. Paddon's review from nine months ago. The DVD version he bought in 2008 is a fraud. "Brewster McCloud" never has been released on DVD. What Dr. Paddon got was a disc containing a direct transfer from the VHS cassette version that the MGM studio released in 1993. Somebody who has access to a machine that transfers VHS cassettes to DVD discs ripped off Dr. Paddon for 10 or 20 dollars. This somebody used to operate a web site called [..]. Like Dr. Paddon, I, too, noticed the site in 2008 and bought this movie on DVD. I noticed the absence of the MGM logo on the box or disc. There is a fradulent logo that says "DVD Video." It would be nice if the copyright holder of "Brewster McCloud" reads this. Maybe it's somebody who works for MGM, which did in fact release the movie on VHS cassette in 1993. The reason Dr. Paddon noticed a lack of detail in the actors' costumes and in the Houston scenery is that he was watching the VHS cassette version transferred to a disc. "Brewster McCloud" has yet to be restored with detail from the 35 millimeter negative. It has yet to be released on DVD. The quality of the movie (minus the technical issue of whatever detail can be salvaged from the 35 millimeter negative -- such as Shelley Duvall's eyelashes ?) is awesome. The screenplay, radical process of storytelling and performances are top notch. Maybe all the detail from the 35 millimeter negative will reach a wide audience again.

Memo to whomever owns the copyright for Robert Altman's movies: You must do a restoration job and release the DVD all over again. I realize that amazon.com does not list a Brewster McCloud DVD or sell it. I am writing this for the benefit of people who have bought the DVD from the "animefirst.com" web site. I did that, and I am missing the fine detail that I vividly recall seeing in previous viewings in the theater and on VHS cassette. Every reviewer on this page is reviewing that videocassette version of Brewster McCloud. I don't see any complaints about the fine detail. So I am chiming in here to help animefirst customers who expect a DVD that is on a par with MASH, Nashville and other Robert Altman classics. Animefirst either does not display customer reviews, or it does not display them as prominently as Amazon. So I may be the only person who can point out the poor detail to the Altman Estate. Or is MGM the interested party? Here are two examples. There is a scene during the first 20 minutes in which Brewster, the title character, shoplifts a camera from a camera store while his accomplice Louise shoplifts many rolls of Kodak film. When I watched the VHS cassette from Blockbuster Video in 1996, I could distinguish the Kodak boxes and filters on display in that store. Now I can't. I could see them during a screening at the American Film Institute. Now I can't. The next example is from the finale, and I am not spoiling it. The audience inside the Houston Astrodome is applauding. (I won't explain why nor will I describe what has been / will be in front of them). On the videocassette I could see the faces and bodies of the audience members, many of them heavyset mothers sitting next to children. I also could see them at the American Film Institute. Now I can't. Please do a restoration job and redo the DVD. You owe that to Mr. Altman's memory and to older citizens of Houston who would love to see buildings and roads that are gone now. Local historians in Houston would love to see the Astroworld theme park with its boat ride that was demolished in 2005. Oldtimers in Houston's local cultural scene (theater and talk radio) would love to see more detail in Mr. Dean Goss during the few seconds Mr. Altman put him on the screen. Mr. Goss died at age 56. I have never even lived in Houston, but I love the way this film is the first color film to capture the landscape of a city other than New York or Los Angeles. The Empire State Building and the Sunset Strip are fun places to visit, and bravo to "An Affair To Remember" and "The Graduate" for capturing them, respectively, in color so long ago. But did you know that civilization existed outside New York and Los Angeles in 1970? I want my kids to see that it did. Please, Mr. or Ms. Copyright Holder, do something about this! I don't want my money back. I want my son and daughter to get their chance for enlightenment back. I am a professor of American history at two community colleges in the Raritan Valley region of New Jersey. It would be wrong for my children to think that all the birds that were alive in 1970 lived in Central Park eating scraps from corned beef sandwiches and hot pretzels. That's not the way it was. Yes, we have color pictures from Sesame Street in 1969 and 1970, but they are all from New York. When the Children's Television Workshop taught kids what water was, they showed fountains in New York but nowhere else. Yes, we have Hitchcock's "The Birds" filmed in color on location in Bodega Bay, California in 1962, but many of those birds were fake, and the whole thing was a macabre fantasy. Show me the rest of the United States. Show me more of Margaret Hamilton's patriotic attire while she sings our national anthem. (That's the second scene in Brewster McCloud for those of you who haven't seen it.) Show me her stripes and the pattern. Please don't tell me Holly Golightly was an outspoken Texan who liked the Star-Spangled Banner. That would be fraudulent history. As the poet Howard Nemerov said, "The reason certain people don't learn from history is that they aren't the people who learned last time." Thanking you in advance. Now my review has three stars. Give my son and daughter more of the truth, in living color, and I will add two. Kids won't sit through two hours of black and white, you know.

I saw this movie when it came out, and stayed in the theater to see it over again in the hope of understanding at least what was going on. After all, it was Altman, for whom straightforward movies like M*A*S*H are a rarity. But, nada. Bud Cort is an appealing guy who deserved a better career, and he'll be remembered for Harold and Maude, but this one was a mistake. Maybe if the soundtrack had been by Cat Stevens. . .

I saw this movie after it was released on a double bill with Catch 22 in a small art house movie theater in New York's Greenwich Village near NYU. It is one of those movies that is over the top and over the edge and could have only been made with the alienated and questioning sensibility of the times. This is one movie I would own on DVD if it ever came out on DVD. Robert Altman knew how to make a movie and this was one of the greats.

Introverted man builds a self-powered flying machine and is protected from harm by supernatural beings. Offbeat (very offbeat) character-driven combination of black comedy, action and satire of American middle-class values. Casual acting and direction style add to the fun.

Average Rating:

Robert Altman: You've just been nominated for an Oscar (for M*A*S*H) and given the keys to Hollywood--what are you going to do next?

Green Lantern: First Flight (Two-Disc Special Edition) Green Lantern: First Flight (Two-Disc Special Edition)

i thought this was a very well done animated movie.it's the origin story of how Hal Jordan became a Green Lantern.i have no idea how close it is to the original comic book origin.but i do knew,i loved the story.i thought it flowed very well, with a good mixture of action and drama.i thought the voice acting was terrific.plus, they seemed to have a good script to work with.i found the dialogue to be really good,as well.none of the usual cheese we tend to see in many animated or even live action movies.i think this particular animated film is as good as any of the recent spate of releases by both Marvel and DC,and it's certainly as entertaining.for me,Green Lantern:First Flight is a 4/5

It's as good as can be expected for a cartoon movie about an underappreciated DC Comics character. Sure, he's not Superman but I find the story of Hal Jordan and the Green Lanter Corps to be the most interesting of all the DC universe. This rendition is not exactly how it happened but it's close enough for CA movie standards; meaning movies that claim to be "based on a true story" are about 50% accurate at best. I look forward to the live-action movie coming out 2011.

Green Lantern is one of those characters in the DC Universe that never got the respect that other DC superheroes got via TV series, movied, or prime billing in cartoons. So unless you're a hardcore GL comics reader, you might not have a good background on the Green Lantern character or mythology. Don't worry ! This is a top-flight Blu-Ray disc in both substance and style. Their is plenty of action, great fight scenes, funny lines, and a tight, compact story. The origins of the Green Lantern Corps, the Green Lantern and Guardians mythology, the green vs.yellow battle -- it's all covered. The story moves very fast and you will not find yourself saying 'come on, come on, get to the good stuff.' The 1080p Blu-Ray Hi-Def production doesn't disappoint and on my Sony 460 Blu-Ray player and a 720p 2006 model plasma, the colors and animation stood out with amazing brilliance. I understand that some characters in the comics are not featured here and a few disappear in this story and timeline, but I'll leave that debate to the GL purists. There are some nice features on the BR disc, including some nice episodes from Justice League Unlimited that feature the Green Lantern (John Stewart, though). Special features from the people behind the cartoons, the movie, and the Green Lantern comics make for interesting reading for GL novices and experts. All in all, a top-notch Blu-Ray addition that you will definitely put in the player again after you've seen the movie the first time. You'll find yourself fast-forwarding to the numerous action sequences, conflicts, and the spectacular climactic ending battle numerous times. Let's hope that DC comes out with a worthy sequel featuring the same voice actors and actresses. This is one of the top if not THE top animation movies from either DC or Marvel that has been put out to date and you will NOT be disappointed.

This movie is a tough one to review. I always try to review movies in the context of what they were attempting to do, e.g. a slapstick comedy cannot be compared to a drama. That said, hard to tell what they were going for here. Maybe its a cartoon movie just for 18-24 year olds? If that is the case, its a narrow demographic target. I won't go into the whole fanboy argument of how much fidelity this has for the comic book established material. I think they did an OK job of capturing the mythos of GL. I would have liked to have seen them go a bit further though. Iron Man gave a fresh treatment to the IM material. GL is something that really calls out for a fresh take. The GL corps always struck me as too much ST the Next Generation. People are too comfortable with aliens, bad food jokes aside. There should be more genuine wonder to alien civs. This is more a fault of the source material though and not the movie. The biggest problem I have with this movie is that GL should be a kid's movie. A lot of parents want to pass on characters they grew up with. This movie contains some graphic torture, heaps of bloody deaths and impalements with copious blood. When this stuff is needed for a story, I am ok with it-but the graphic blood seems extraneous to the story. With a bit of editing, there is no reason they could not have made this a kid friendly movie. The voice acting was pretty good. I liked the way they crafted Sinestro's personality and motivations. He is portrayed as kind of a mini-Stalin-he just wants to bring order to an unruly galaxy even if he has to murder everyone in his way. The smurfs come across as pretty lame, they should have seemed more grand and omniscient.

Not a great film, the Justice League (specially season one) are much better. The story line could have been created with more interesting parts. I know this is a "cartoon" but I expected a more grown up one, this one seems very childish at some points. The Blu Ray version was not "mind blowing" like others (Battle for Terra, Serenity, etc.) so not worth it.

Love Finds a Home Love Finds a Home

I would recommend the movie "Love Finds a Home" for the famiy to view together. There are trials and joys. There is love and laughter. In our everyday world we face a lot of things and sometimes a look at what someone else has gone through can give us a diferent perspective to look at for ourselves today. Watch and enjoy!

We have this whole series and have watched them more than once. Great family movies and everyone can get something out of them to apply to their own life.

Latest in the Love Comes Softly Series. As good as the previous ones. Highly recommend this if you liked the other ones.

I bought this because I own pretty much the whole series (with the exception of Love takes Wing, which I found to be particularly bad). The poor leads from Love Takes Wing are also stars in this, but do a slightly better job. Story is sweet of course, but it's disappointing that the quality deteriorated with each sequel. For those who love the series, this is worth a watch. If you don't - don't bother.

I have loved this entire series "Love Finds A Home" was so well made it's perfect to end the series! My only wish is that this set would've been made into a weekly tv series like Little House on the Prairie, Christy, or the Waltons. That way they could've taken more from the books and really developed the lives of the characters even more.

Michael Jordan By Michael Jordan For Men. Cologne Spray 3.4 Ounces Michael Jordan By Michael Jordan For Men. Cologne Spray 3.4 Ounces

Reviews

My husband has worn this cologne for years. I like the clean scent myself. It's not my favorite cologne of his, but it's decent smelling and inexpensive and he loves it.

great smell and very fresh and aromatic with good spices to deepen the scent this scent will have noticable sillage for up to an hour and then stays very close to the skin for the rest of the time, while the scent is excellent for daily wear only thing is that this does not have as much X factor like many other scents like le male, issey miyake, burberry brit, armani code, hermes

My son loves this cologne. I think it has a great smell and an even better price for a fourteen year old!

Even though I initially bought this cologne when it first came out for no other reason than I liked Michael Jordan, it actually smells pretty good. I wore it for about a year back then, but then wore Hugo up until a few weeks ago when I bought Jordan again. My only complaint is that the fragrance doesn't seem to hang around too long or be strong enough to really matter. With certain colognes a lot of people smell you (in a good way) without having to have their nose at your neck, but with this I have yet to receive a compliment for smelling good, which I would get often wearing other colognes. In fact, the only person who has ever noticed it is my girlfriend and only when she is really close to me. So yeah, if nothing else you don't have to worry about smelling bad, but at the same time you could do that without wearing cologne at all. Overall, good smell but just doesn't seem to have much kick.

This classic is an instant hit as soon as I tried them on. It stayed on for hours. I was suprised by the smell of this perfume because I thought it would wear out in just a couple of hours. The blends of different elements really captured what Michael is really all about. I would definitely recommend this product. It's so cool!
