New Orleans SAINTS Super Bowl XLIV Champs Snuggler Blanket + Sleeves as on TV New Orleans SAINTS Super Bowl XLIV Champs Snuggler Blanket + Sleeves as on TV

Reviews

The picture gives the impression that the ENTIRE blanket AND sleeves are a solid jet black. (With logo's and letters on top of that...) The ONLY parts that are SOLID Jet Black is the lower portion with the Super Bowl lettering and the sleeves! The rest of the blanket is a weird charcoal gray with black dots throughout! Thus the SOLID JET BLACK sleeves really stand out and look out of place! Perhaps the vendor is selling rejects as New Products! I can tell you I would have NEVER bought this in a store if I had viewed it first hand! VERY Disappointing! Also, the thickness of the blanket is Very Thin!

For the past 10 years or so, I've been a very avid fan of Springsteen's work. That may not sound like much, considering when he began recording, but consider the fact that that 10 years is half my life, and it's a huge deal. I'm very familiar with his work, including B-sides and other little bonuses, and this album ("Working On A Dream") struck me, at first, as a B-side album to "Magic." My opinion has since changed very much. From the opening 8-minute journey through the life of Outlaw Pete to the musings of a wrestler past his prime, Bruce has once again done what he does best - he's taken the life of an individual person in society, taken their story, and turned it into something fantastic and new, all the while maintaining the accuracy and intricacy of all the little details of that person's story. Yes, he's done it before, but each time it's something new, and each time, it's fantastic. This album is no exception. I've come to love it very much. The bonus DVD is a nice feature; it gives a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the album, and in one or two cases it shows the music video for a song as well. The music video to "A Night With The Jersey Devil" can be found online, but here you have a copy to watch whenever you want, whether you are connected to the internet or not. The packaging is very nice, though you can't take the lyric booklet out of it. It's attached to the inside of the front flap of the album cover, while the CD is in a sleeve in the middle section and the DVD is in the right-hand section. The only negative I have is that the CD case was bent slightly and wrinkled in the corners during shipping. It's not a huge deal, but it was mildly annoying.

This is Bruce Springsteens best, for so many reasons because it shows the happy side of him, most of his older songs are great too but there always depressing. I think this is his best work yet keep up the good work bruce!

I love Bruce but he is dangerously close to being over exposed. Why he chose to put out this boring lifeless record I don't know. The wrestler is an excellent song. Working on a dream and my lucky day are pretty songs if not great. The rest of the record could have remained in the studio. I am glad for Bruce's late career renaissance but his talent would be better served if he would be more judicious in the work he puts out. Also I am not a big fan of the production of his latest records, I would like to hear a more raw and stripped down sound.

if stink could emanate from your sound system, the stench that this cd would produce would require you to hire professionals to clean your house, car, boat, plane, spaceship or whatever. listening to this induces thoughts of those huge bulldozers pushing all that gar-bage around in staten island while the seagulls sing chorus. disinfectant, deodorant, and christmas tree car fresheners should be included with every cd. at the very least have three clothespins available. one for your nose and two to jam into your ears. for those of you fortunate enough to be at least five states away, bruces latest stinklalong will help you recreate the sounds, smells, and politics wafting out of joisey. massive amounts of zero stars for this festering pile.

Hi, I appreciate this new release which seep notes that remind me the music of genius like Beach Boys, Byrds, Beatles, Roy Orbison and Phil Spector, notwithstanding it seems to be the first album where melodies and sounds are so overwhelming as regards to the lyrics which sometimes simply express a generic optimistic hope that people will make a U-bolt and take complete different roads concerning main issues which currently concern USA and the whole world. But also personal relationships and the passage of time are not neglected here and permeate some majestic songs like Kingdom of Days, This life, What love can do and Life itself. Anyway anytime I come near to the end I feel a pang in my heart, and Surprise surprise is not sweet enough for me to bear the sadly, gloomy and haunting The Last Carnival, sang fondly like the last bittersweet tribute to magic E Street organist Danny Federici. Never forget him and all dreams he gave (and still donate) me. Thanks Danny for all you have done ! Presumably the Boss is at his very best on the album-closing, Golden Globe-winning "The Wrestler," great lyrics on a touching sound carpet where acoustic guitar and piano chords wonderfully interlace. Springsteen powerful, raw voice during Outlaw Pete blow me away, it reminds me past masterpieces where he used to shout out his rage and disillusion, also great are follower My lucky day and Working on a dream. In the complex a strong album, the sound is a little bit better than Magic but still not completely satisfactory, hope next E Street release will bring back the Big Man, his terrific sax solo are nearly absent here. Also hope to breath soon some of the old fire, in the meanwhile I'll go and see them live. See you there. Greetings from Italy, ciao Raffaello

I was so looking forward to getting this CD, but when it arrived, it quickly became eveident that I had allowed myself to be suckered. Despite being billed as various artists (therefore one would rightly assume the originals) this is a cheap copy featuring 'the Hit Crew'. Suffice to say, I doubt this crew has ever had a hit and never will. IMO: The copies contained on this CD are lame, compared to the originals. DON'T BUY!!

I was very disappointed in the DVD--I bought the best games of the season and the NFC Champioship game both of which included whole games, so why is the Super Bowl just highlights? I have seen this DVD advertised and in no way is it stated that the game is not part of the DVD--very misleading.

Shattered expectations are tough to take. I thought I was going to get to see the whole game. This would be a very nice DVD with all the extras if only it had the whole SUPER BOWL game included like I mistakenly thought it did. If you want highlights ONLY of more games than just the Super Bowl, then this DVD does a nice job of delivering that. If you want to be able to watch the whole game, don't waste your money; cause this DVD doesn't have it. VERY DISAPPOINTED. I guess I'll try iTunes like a commenter suggested to the other 1 star reviewer. Don't waste your money here like I did unless you're happy with nothing but highlights. I'm not. I was on track for a great Saturday. This is almost as disappointing as if the Saints had lost. But they didn't! Who Dat?

They start off with a little back ground on the saints and then head into the magical 2009 season, giving highlights of each game. The highlights are edited so it feels like a watching a movie. They spend much more time on the playoff games and the Superbowl. The entire movie is narrated giving it the documentary feel. The special features are really nice too, most of them are not longer the ten min, but there well worth watching. It looks great on blu-ray and sounds good. All in all I was impressed with presentation of the season and what highlights they showed.

I just got this title in on Tuesday, and in the two days that have elapsed I've watched this blu-ray disc 3 times already. It's really well written, and is split up into 3 main segments. The first is a prologue that profiles the history of the team (briefly) and sets up the Katrina and post-Katrina struggles of the city and the team. The next segment includes a significant amount of high definition highlights from the regular season and playoffs. They don't skimp on the highlights either - they do a great job of telling the story of each individual game, supported by lots of highlights and game film with the unforgettable calls of Jim Henderson and Hokie Gajan of WWL Saints Radio. The last segment highlights the Super Bowl. A good amount of player interviews put the game's significance front and center, and you are then immersed in Super Bowl XLIV. After a brief conclusion, Saints fans are treated to scenes from the Super Bowl victory parade on "DAT Tuesday" during "Lombardi Gras." There are a decent amount of special features - highlighting Jabari Hargrove, Sean Payton, Deuce McAllister, and Jeremy Shockey. There's also significant Saints coverage and interviews from Super Bowl Media Day. All in all, it's worth every penny.

This Blu-ray is worth the price! At first, I debated purchasing it because it didn't show the entire Super Bowl but this is better. It tells a great story going game by game with great commentary from Jim Henderson and WWL radio. I was happy when they showed us winning and still a bit upset when they showed the 3 game losing streak. I choked up a bit (again) when they showed Hartley nail the winning FG in the NFC Championship game. The story is told from a definitively Saints and Who Dat Nation perspective. It's like no one else matters, not even Peyton Manning, he's an after thought (in the film). They do a good job of capturing the spirit of the Saints, season, each game and the Super Bowl. If you are a Saints fan this is a must buy and if you're not you'll still enjoy a great film.

It goes without saying that this show is incredible. I was very pleased with the condition I recieved it in.

In being an avid fan of the Ross and Rachel characters, I love how Season 2 finally brings them together. In my opinion, they're one of the most indelible TV couples ever. In addition to them, this season really brought out even more of the unique humour that made "Friends" such an amazing show. The cast had the kind of chemistry that cannot be forced or "directed." They just...clicked. And on a side note, this season truly emphasized how talented Jennifer Aniaton is as both a comedic and dramatic actress. It also proved, irrefutably, how incredibly beautiful she is. She should have won an Emmy for this go around. Not only that, her hair was so lovely in this season:) All in all, an amazing show!

friend - the complete second season, the movie is very nice, but when I recived the box, one of disc was missing, disc number 03, and

This is fun to see the cast go through the tech revolution. In season one they have upgraded from the collapsible-antenna cordless phone to something a shade more modern. Their clothing is still really 90's and they haven't developed the chemistry yet, though. It is fun to see the episodes that lay the ground work for a lot of the story lines down the road. Worth buying if you're a Friends fan.

Excellent service! And the item was in the conditions he advertised

Stunt casting stumbles (Jean-Claude Van Damme, Charlie Sheen) aside, it was a very good year for this beloved series, ranked by TV Guide as among the top 25 of all time. With the bar set so high from the first season, a sophomore slump could be expected, but, apart from a game Julia Roberts, only the hour-long episode raised the question whether success would spoil Friends...
